Verified ReviewerNestle review: Experiance of water bottles
I have never felt the need to write or complain about something as silly as a candy bar.... but I felt that I needed to say something to let my opinion be heard regarding the decision to change the recipe of Butterfinger candy bar.
The "new recipe" Butterfinger is not nearly as tasty and unique as the old recipe. Not even close. There was a unique richer aftertaste in the old recipe that was so satisfying that the new recipe does not have. I waited several months to contact you regarding my disappointment after trying the new recipe many months ago.
I thought perhaps maybe Nestle or Ferrara or whoever makes it now, would reconsider this very poor decision, but I see that it looks like Butterfinger will not be switching back to the original recipe with the richer, toastier superior taste. I kept thinking that maybe you were trying to test the waters like Coka Cola did back in the 1980's when then introduced New Coke.... and completely fell flat on their faces. To someone who has eaten Butterfinger candy bars for decades, this new recipe just doesn't do it for me at all, and therefor I will no longer buy your product.
Period. It tastes very flat and doesn't have the toastier, peanut'ier flavor that it used to. I realize that now that you have rolled it out, you have no intention of switching back even though it seems no one likes it. The switch I'm sure has very little to do with what I read about wanting to use peanuts grown in the USA...
and all of the unpronounceable artificial ingredients from the original recipe. Who do you think you are fooling? It's all about cutting corners and increasing profits. These are treats, not a food group.
No one cares about the preservatives or where the peanuts are grown. Get real! Breyers changed their original recipe for their ice creams several years ago as well. No one likes that either.
Does anyone at the top of Nestle or Ferrara watch YouTube reviews? Listen to what your customers are saying. If you have to charge a nickle more... than do it, but don't screw with your loyal customers who have grown used to getting their Butterfinger fix.
Breyers new recipe tastes terrible also and I no longer buy their product either. Breyers and Butterfingers have been long time American treats that millions enjoyed on a regular basis. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Corporate greed I guarantee is behind both of these decisions and as result, not concern for preservatives and domestic grown ingredients.
Please don't insult your once loyal customers.
In the end, you will likely lose profits as no one wants to buy the new, less satisfying recipe. Nestle or Ferrara can try and spin it anyway they want, but profits and corporate greed are behind the change.

- Muslims in commercials
Just seen your commercial with the Muslim girl in the burka. This is America, keep your left wing propaganda out of your advertising campaign.
Your bottom line will be affected by this over time if you all keep offending half of the country.
Seems like someone in corporate would have caught this. But I’m not surprised.
